The Ghost Hunters Webring was the first online community of its kind on the World Wide Web. It is part of the Bedlam Web Group and managed by unpaid volunteers.

We aim to support, promote and advise websites which offer information, discussion and images in the field of serious paranormal research and investigation. This ring is not for Halloween, 'dark', gothic or imaginative sites with fictional/creative contents - it is reserved for sites which deal in legitimate enquiries into supernatural events, haunted locations and related phenomena.

Please note that we need the support of people like you in order to cover our daily running expenses, purchase necessary equipment and subsidise field trips to active locations. Our operations 'in the field' have, thus far, generally concentrated on aiding people who are disturbed by paranormal phenemona in their homes, businesses and other places - this will hopefully change in the future as our budget stretches to encompass consistent research. Although commercial sites are, under certain conditions, admitted into our community (please see the sections of this site pertaining to commercial sites and featured site status for more information), we strongly believe that it is our responsibility to provide free and effective facilities for fellow investigators who charge no fees.
